Money we raise is matched 3:1 by the Heritage Lotterey Fund grant. With the additional tax relief that we can claim it means that your gift could be worth over five times as much to the restoration. For example if you give £100 we can claim £28 from the Inland Revenue. We would then use that £128 to draw down £384 from the HLF enabling us to do £512 worth of restoration work. The Gift Aid scheme is very important to us. It allows us to claim an additional 28% of the value of any gift from the Inland Revenue, provided you are a UK tax payer. All you have to do is confirm this to us once and we can then reclaim the tax on any donation made since 6 April 2000 and any subsequent gifts.
